In Loving Memory DOUGLAS JAMES CROFT March 25, 1935 - January 7, 2013 Doug Croft, a resident of Gore Bay, died at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Mindemoya on Monday, January 7, 2013 at the age of 77 years. He was born at Evansville, son of the late George (Amby) and Beryl (Campbell) Croft. Doug had worked for many years at McDougall Construction before starting employment at MTO, where he worked for over 25 years. Doug's passion in life was hunting, fishing and spending time at camp, sharing that time with Noreen and his kids.
Doug is survived by his beloved wife Noreen (Rayner) Croft. Loving and loved father of Pam (Ken Moreau) of Owen Sound and Randy (Pam) of Spring Bay. Proud grandfather of Christopher (Shawna), Kelsey, Connor, Brandon and Jorja. Dear brother of Wayne (Ruby) of Gore Bay, and brother in law of Jim and Leah Rayner of Gore Bay and Blair and Annette Rayner of Elliot Lake. Will also be missed by 12 nieces and nephews. In keeping with Doug's wishes, cremation will take place with a graveside service in the spring at Gordon Cemetery. If so desired, donations to the Gore Bay Medical Centre, the Kidney Foundation or the Cancer Society would be appreciated. Online condolences may be left at www.culginfuneralhome.ca
