of Meldrum Bay passed away peacefully at Mindemoya Hospital on Saturday, July 11, 2015 in her 75th year.

Dawn will be sadly missed by her step brother Alfred Smith,
brother-in-law Alfred Essery
and sister-in-laws Hope Essery and Annjeanette (Al) Monet

as well as grandchildren Emily, Jessie, Jenny, Tyler, Jazmine, Kristen,
several great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Predeceased by her husband Charlie, son Allen, daughter-in-law Kathy, step sister Barbara and her parents William and Audust (Van Horne) Smith.
Dawn was awarded a citizen of the year award, and was very heavily involved in the community and church, helping and volunteering at the drop of a hat. Dawn will be sadly missed by the Meldrum Bay community.
Visitation will be held at the St. Andrew's United Church - Meldrum Bay on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m.
Interment Meldrum Bay Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Andrew's United Church - Meldrum Bay or the Canadian Cancer Society as expressions of sympathy.
