Eric passed away with his mother and aunt by his side at the Manitoulin Health Centre on the evening of Monday, May 26, 2025.

Eric is the loving son of Beverly Mandamin and the late Peter Earnest Mandamin.

Loving father of Eric Jr. Trent Recollet
and Grandfather to Nicholas.

Loving godfather of Frank Wassegijig and Mildred Bondy.

Predeceased by cherished grandmothers Sarah Pitawanakwat and Theresa Mandamin.

Remembered by godparents Frank Wassegijig and Mildred Bondy.

Missed by cherished grandfathers
Dominic Pitawanakwat and Ambrose Kitchikeg (both predeceased)

Eric will be sadly missed by his siblings
Dale Mandamin and Stephanie Mandamin.

Also Special friend and family Lori Mejaki.

Eric will be deeply missed by his Pitawanakwat and Mandamin family, uncles, aunts, cousins, niece Lexi, nephew Trevor and all his friends. He will also be missed by close friends Jerry and Sky, Datumz, Paul, Bo, Wally and Cody.

Eric enjoyed being outdoors and was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. He enjoyed working at the sawmill. He loved drawing and painting in his earlier years. Eric was very playful, happy and charismatic and children were naturally drawn to him. Erics favourite past time was playing with children. Eric had an engaging smile and laugh.
