FERN ELAINE DOCKING BAKER June 28, 1955 - March 28, 2013 Fern Baker, a resident of Evansville, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at the age of 58 years. She was born in Fort William, daughter of the late Russell and Joan (Morten) Docking. Fern had worked as a photographer, a job she enjoyed greatly. She had a variety of interests, which included being a volunteer firefighter, and she enjoyed knitting, cooking, fishing and motorcycle riding. Fern will be sadly missed, but many memories will be cherished. Dearly loved wife of Jim Baker of Evansville. Loving mother of Jason Kennedy, wife Lynn and Jennifer Papke, husband Larry all of Chelmsford. Proud grandmother of Rebecca and Kaylee Kennedy and Avery and Hayden Papke. Dear sister of Robert Docking of Sudbury and Terry Docking (predeceased). Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. In keeping with Fern's wishes, cremation will take place. A graveside service will be conducted at Burpee - Mills Cemetery on June 29 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Erwin Thompson officiating. If so desired, donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
