James Alexander "Jim" McLeod

McLeod - James (Jim) suddenly at his residence on Sunday, April 2, 2017 in his 76th year. Jim was the beloved husband for 56 years of Maxine (Lewis) and loving father of Dwayne (Mona) McLeod, Denise (Tom) Flood and Deborah (John) Topash. He is survived by his grandchildren Devin, Dylan, Dustin, Charnelle and Janene, and great grandchildren Destiny, Kara, Emily, Reid, Kady, Brayden and Elijah. Jim will be sadly missed by his special sister in law Barb Armstrong, Marlene (Stew) Burns, Betty Masters, Nancy Lewis and brothers in law Bill (Gail) Lewis, Bob Brown and John Longarini, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Alexander and Eva (Bailey) McLeod, brothers in law Ron Lewis, Scott Armstrong and sisters Kathleen Brown, Marion (Jim) Prestage, Nellie (Bill) Buie, and Thelma Longarini. Visitation will be held at the Simpson Funeral Home, Gore Bay on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 1 to 2 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Rotary Club of Gore Bay (Gore Bay Medical Centre) or charity of choice as expression of sympathy and may be made through www.simpsonfuneralhome.ca
