In Loving Memory of
Jesse Dylan Ogden
August 28,1975– January 15, 2026
Jesse Dylan Ogden, at the age of 50, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Health Sciences North, leaving behind a space that cannot be filled and a legacy that will be felt quietly and deeply by those who truly knew him.
Jesse was the beloved son of John Michael “Mike” and Alice Ogden, and the cherished brother of John Michael Ogden Jr. (J.M.).
He was also a deeply loved brother-in-law to Angie Ogden and a proud, caring uncle to Brynn and Dylan, who were an important part of his life and his hopes for the future.
Jesse had a special part of his heart for his cousins Tia and Kate.
Jesse was a truly unique soul—creative, thoughtful and unmistakably himself. He never followed the crowd, choosing instead to move through life to the steady rhythm of his own drum, guided by curiosity, reflection and an inner compass that rarely pointed in ordinary directions.
He loved to read and learn, often diving into subjects simply for the joy of understanding them. That love of ideas showed itself in the gifts he gave.
Never generic, never rushed, but personal, meaningful and imaginative. To receive a gift from Jesse was to feel seen and understood.
Jesse found peace and joy outdoors, especially while fishing or riding his bike, moments where the world slowed down and thinking could wander.
He also had a lifelong love of basketball, playing at a near-professional level in his youth; an outlet for both his discipline and his quiet competitiveness.
Those who knew Jesse will remember his originality, his depth and the way conversations with him never stayed on the surface for long.
He was a thinker, a creator and a gentle presence whose impact reached far beyond what he ever tried to show.
Jesse is loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. His family and friends will carry his memory forward in stories, in quiet moments of reflection and in the enduring reminder that there is great value in living life on one’s own terms.
