John Weldon Gridley

Gridley-John,of Gore Bay, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 27,2019 in his 88th year. John will be sadly missed by his step daughter Hazel (Douglas) Anderson, step son Keven (Elspeth) Asquith and his sister Ann Jacques. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife Connie,daughters Judy and Diana Gridley, step daughter Annette Asquith, and parents Thomas and Beatrice (Prosser) Gridley. John was a kind and caring man who loved to take care of people. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion #514 as well as being a very, very proud veteran of the Korean War. At John's request, there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice and may be made through www.simpsonfuneralhome.ca
