In Loving Memory of
Kenneth John Bentley
April 3, 1968 - April 16, 2025
Kenneth passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at the age of 57.
Born and raised in South Porcupine, Ken was a man of quiet strength, endless generosity and unwavering loyalty.
He was a lifelong Toronto Maple Leafs fan, a dedicated volunteer firefighter and someone who never hesitated to help those in need, always offering his hand without ever asking for anything in return.
In 2013, Ken moved to Manitoulin Island, a place he quickly came to love and call home.
He is survived by his beloved family; his wife Selena, his children Ronan, Xander, Robbie (Vanessa), Kenny (Chantal), his brother Glen (Trish) and his niece and nephew Krista and Connor. Ken was predeceased by his son Brady and his parents, Clem and John. He also leaves behind his many cherished aunts and uncles.
A celebration of Ken's life will be held at the Gore Bay Legion Branch #514, on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 2:00pm.
All are welcome to join in remembering and honouring a truly selfless and kindhearted man.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) or Hope Air, two causes close to Ken's heart.
Ken will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
