Nellie McDonald Obituary
McDonald- Nellie, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday December 9, 2015 in her 91st year. Beloved mother of Joyce McDonald (Chris Robinson) of Gore Bay, Doug (Donna Kay) of Silver Water, Sandy (Gwen) of Gore Bay, Elaine McDonald of Mindemoya, Ken (Debbie) of Sturgeon Falls, Joan (Mike) Purcell of Gore Bay, Jean (Ken) Richer of Espanola and Lee (Jodilynn Colwell) of Meldrum Bay. Nellie will be sadly missed by her 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Charlie, parents James and Alice (Steele) Fisher, brothers Chester and Alex Fisher and a sister Jean Fisher. Visitation will be held at the SIMPSON FUNERAL HOME, Gore Bay, on Monday December 14 from 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday December 15 at 11 am. Interment Meldrum Bay Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Manitoulin Lodge Auxiliary, Meldrum Bay United Church, Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation as expressions of sympathy.
